A: A Physical Therapist gives 1000000 exercises to do every day— I mean who has the time?!

B: A Physical Therapist tells you to STOP everything immediately with NO alternatives— umm hellooo? this is essential for my self-care.

I can promise you— that’s not what you get at Live Good, Feel Good Physical Therapy and Wellness.

As a lover of the outdoors who has dealt with her fair share of injuries, I get it. You want to stay active AND take good care of your body. That’s why in 2019, I opened Live Good, Feel Good and re-imagined the way I practiced Physical Therapy. Physical Therapy at Live Good, Feel Good is a comprehensive, holistic approach to rehabbing an injury. Together we create a plan that includes strength training, nervous system regulation, manual therapy/hands-on work (cupping, IASTM, dry needling, etc), functional mobility, yoga, fascial work, stress management AND SO.MUCH.MORE. On top of that, each session is one-on-one so you get my full attention and a customized program that meets you where you are from week to week.

What to Expect from Physical Therapy with Kerry:

 

Step 1:

Schedule your initial evaluation below and fill out the intake form. This is where you can start to write YOUR story, think about YOUR goals and share any information you want with Kerry. You will also be asked questions about stress, lifestyle and daily habits.

Step 2:

Show up for your 75 minute initial evaluation in clothes ready to move your body. We will take a deep dive into your history, current complaints, lifestyle and goals. From there, we will assess anything from strength and flexibility to nervous system activation and fascia mobility.

Step 3:

Game Plan Time. Based on your goals and the assessment, together we make a game plan. You can expected to leave your first appointment with a variety of different exercises, stretches, mindfulness techniques and lifestyle shifts. You will also leave with a plan in place moving forward for in person and/or virtual check ins.

step 4:

Take Action. This if your life and your body. With the guidance and support of Kerry, you will get to work taking your next steps forward. Depending on your personal plan, there will be weekly or bi weekly check in sessions to move you in the direction of your feel good life!

Here’s the thing: Pain is so incredibly multi-factorial And that’s why we consider it all. You work, your daily habits, your movement and injury history, your injury, your pain levels, how you move, your stress levels, your hydration, you get it— it all plays a role in how you feel and how your body moves. Therefore, it has to play a role in your physical therapy program. We look at it ALL and create a comprehensive, holistic approach to rehabilitation. .

. Together, we will create a plan to get you back outdoors. One that fits your lifestlye, your goals and your needs. Don't let anyone tell you different. You are NOT broken and you don't need to rehabilitate this injury alone. You just need a little help and guidance to get back to your best self.
