One of the key points on my healing journey was learning more about my nervous system, why it is so important and how it could be playing a role in how I was feeling.  To be completely honest, I sat through hours of neurology in graduate school but it wasn't until I was completely burnt out that I truly put the healing power of the nervous system to use. This episode is a brief look at the autonomic nervous system and it's branches the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous system-- broken down so you can understand these different states and how they play a role in your healing journey.
