Here are a few of my favorite things:

Reading: I finished A History of Wild Places By Shea Ernshaw and I LOVED it. I will admit it was hard for me to get into at first— mostly the first 1-2 chapters but then when I got into the meat of it, I was hooked. I then fell down a Instagram hole of following Shea Ernshaw and she is 110% the same vibe as all things Live Good, Feel Good and Nourish Your Nervous System. She talks about slow living and uses hashtags like #slowlife #slowlivingforlife and #inthegarden — kindred spirits? I think SO! She also just released a new book called A Wilderness of Stars... I am on a book-buying freeze until the new year but the first edition is sooo pretty I might have to get it. 10/10 recommend.

Tea: I am still in the depths of my gut healing journey and I have been feeling so much better but I am still following a protocol. Luckily for this tea-loving gal, Green tea is an essential part of my protocol so I have been having at least a cup of green tea every day and I love it.

Beverages: I am a beverage-y gal. If you follow me on Instagram, you know that. Legit always have 3 beverages in hand at all times. Speaking of my gut healing journey, my favorite thing lately has been my Gut Personal Miracle Worker beverage. first of all, the taste is absolutely amazing, and second, it really truly works. I have struggled with constipation for years and I have tried it ALL. GP's Miracle Worker is AMAZING for all things sleep, poop and stress. Personally, when I get stressed out, the first thing to react is my gut which normally leads to constipation which normally leads to a cranky Kerry. I take one scoop of the Miracle Worker every night before bed to stay regular. When I am going through a stressful time, I take two scoops a day. (in stressful experiences, your body burns through more magnesium). Use code FEELGOOD at checkout for 10% all Gut Personal products

Nourishment: Chris made a delicious Shepard's pie with our leftover mashed potatoes and I am absolutely obsessed. I have had it at least once a day since he made it and I have no shame. A running joke when Chris is out of town for work is that he is concerned I won't feed myself. (this might be a valid concern— not that I don't love food, but now that Chris does most of the cooking, I realize how.... not so great... my cooking is haha) Leftovers for the win!

Rituals: The days are getting shorter and the nights are getting longer. The weather has been dreary and it's been.... deary and bleh. Enter twinkly lights. I keep up string lights in my office and our living room and bedroom in a warm glow year round. When the holidays come around, I double up. We have a Christmas tree, multi-colored lights and snowflakes all around. My latest favorite ritual is my sunset ritual. Every day as the sun sets I switch on all the twinkly lights in the house and brew myself a soothing cup of tea. I take a moment to pause and honor the darkness of this time of year and the warmth of my tea. It's been grounding during a time of year when it can be challenging mentally.

Listening: I have really enjoyed diving into making new yoga playlists lately. It's a lost love that for the past few years I haven't felt like I had enough time to make a playlist. I also struggled for a bit a feeling like I was always micro-managing the playlists and trying to make them perfect. I've made two new flow playlists Grateful for Where I've Been and To Love. I also made a new Yoga Sculpt playlist: Turkey Sculpt. And of course, the YULE playlist from Kat Steele is on repeat.

Movement: I am still trucking along with my own Ski Prep Program but I am a bit behind— just goes to show that your workout program doesn't need to be perfect. You can follow a program and make progress and still take days off when needed. I have also been teaching a new corporate class Stretch and Strengthen. I created a new format for myself and I have really really been loving it. I have uploaded one class on youtube— check out my new Get Grounded series.
